Description (partial)

Symptom:

The VQE-C software may trigger a segmentation fault upon initialization or upon receiving a configuration update.
Conditions:

The segmentation fault may occur when any VQE-C configuration parameter defined to be of type STRING is supplied with a non-string value in a configuration file (e.g. Start-up or Network).

The list of affected configuration parameters are below (not all of these parameters are supported in all VQE-C releases prior to release 3.3):
