Cisco Bug: CSCta72678 - Incomplete translations seen when ACL's used with 'unkown' protocol
Jul 06, 2010
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
None Symptom: When pkts with protocol field set to 'unknown' hit the NAT inside interface, they get NATTED. However, if ACL's are used instead of route-maps to map the traffic to the NAT pool, then the protocol information and Outside local and global ip address information is missing from the NAT entry. With route-maps, no such issue is seen. Conditions: Issue is seen only when ACL is used instead of route-maps.
