Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco IOS

Known Affected Releases

12.2REC

Description (partial)

None
Symptom:
When pkts with protocol field set to 'unknown' hit the NAT inside
interface, they get NATTED.

However, if ACL's are used instead of route-maps to map the traffic to
the NAT pool, then the protocol information and Outside local and global
ip address information is missing from the NAT entry.

With route-maps, no such issue is seen.

Conditions:
Issue is seen only when ACL is used instead of route-maps.
