Cisco Bug: CSCta66819 - ACS CSLog service stale threads can cause remote logging failure
Mar 15, 2016
- Cisco Secure Access Control Server for Windows
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: ACS Servers configured for remote logging work initially, but fail after a period of time. Once the failure occurs, it persists until services are restarted on the servers. When the problem occurs, the receiving server's sockets for log connections are all tied up by stale (unused) connections, causing the sending server to fail to be able to end any events. Conditions: Issue is observed in some environments with ACS where both remote logging and replication is configured.
