Description (partial)

Symptom:

4500 running 12.2(44)SG image may experience crash if it has lots of security Acl and Qos policy configured on each interface.

Conditions:

The crash may happen when Tcam' s P&V or PorV region is fully loaded, which causes Qos disabled on certain interface, or packet being punted to s/w for Acl lookup.  Switch may experience high cpu usage at the time. Changing any Acl/Qos configuration at such moment may trigger this crash.
