Description (partial)

When the node is upgraded from a lower software version to a higher software version or downgraded from a higher software version to a lower software version, the GCC-EOC alarm is displayed on the standby port of the splitter protected OTU2XP card.

1. Place two OTU2-XP cards (splitter protection mode) in different chassis with software release 9.0.
2. Enable GCC on the working ports of the cards.
3. Raise the GCC-EOC alarm. Refer to GCC-EOC section in the alarm troubleshooting guide. This alarm is reported on the active port of the splitter ports of the card.
4. Upgrade the node to Release 9.10. After the node comes up, the GCC-EOC alarm is raised on the standy port also.
