Description (partial)

It is not possible to apply output QoS features to packet/frames on packet VLAN. The following QoS policy would mark/color the frames/packets on packet VLAN:
mac access-list control-packet-vlans
 10 permit any any vlan 196
 20 permit any any vlan 197
policy-map type qos mark-control-packet-vlans
 class control-packet-vlans
   set cos 6
port-profile system-uplink
 capability uplink
 vmware port-group
 switchport mode trunk
 channel-group auto mode on sub-group cdp
 service-policy type qos output mark-control-packet-vlans
 no shutdown
 system vlan 196-197
 state enabled

The current N1kv processing for packet traffic does not process any output policies for features.

Applying QoS policy to packet VLAN frames/packets.
