Cisco Bug: CSCta47704 - Ping from firewall always uses same ICMP ID 0x1124
Nov 09, 2016
- Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Firewalls
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When executing multiple concurrent PINGs from the command line of an ASA or PIX firewall, you may see odd results that look like packets are being dropped. Conditions: This has been seen on ASA/PIX version 188.8.131.52 and possibly earlier versions and code trains. This only happens when multiple concurrent PINGs are issued from the ASA/PIX command line (perhaps from different command-line sessions).
