Description (partial)

Symptom:

7955G IP Phone reports half duplex to the switch when switch and phone are configured for 100/full.

00:02:40: %CDP-4-DUPLEX_MISMATCH: duplex mismatch discovered on GigabitEthernet3/1 (not half duplex), with SEP0021A084F219 Port 1 (half duplex).

Conditions:

I have observed this when the phone is in the boot up process.  Once the phone is booted up this is no longer an issue.  This has only be observed on Catalyst 6500.  Same issue is not seen on 3560.
