Last Modified

Jan 30, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco ACE Application Control Engine Module

Known Affected Releases

3.0(0)A2(1.4a) 3.0(0)A2(1.5)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

The two ACE Modules are configured for FT. The SNMP Engine ID configuration parameter is sync'ed from the ACTIVE to STANDBY. This results in both ACE Modules having the same SNMP Engine ID and this can cause problems for certain Network Management Stations (NMS).

Conditions:

The ACE is configured for FT, a SNMP Engine ID and is managed via SNMP with a NMS.
