Description (partial)

 A CPUHOG is seen on the console after several hundred CPE's are issuing
 hundreds of multicast joins.
  018888: Jun 22 00:57:22.790: %SYS-3-CPUHOG: Task is running for (4000)msecs,
 more than (2000)msecs (68/14),process = CMTS Multicast QOS process.
     1. Large number of multicast QOS sessions 
     2. IGMP join/leave for large number of IGMP groups with short
        period of time or interface shutdown
