Description (partial)

Symptom:

By running a CUIS report with relative time range like last week it takes very long time.

CUIS uses the datediff function for this query as following:
SELECT * FROM [archiver_custom].[dbo].[SkillGroupHistSumTest] WHERE   datediff( d, [DateTime], getdate() ) = 0

In our test we see that this query takes 00:06:02 to return 29175 rows.

We get the 29175 records in 1 second by running the followng query:
SELECT * FROM [archiver_custom].[dbo].[SkillGroupHistSumTest] WHERE   [DateTime] > '2009-06-08 00:00:00'

This is a big performance difference and we see that the disk performance is very high when we execute the query with the datediff function.

Conditions:

We see this in 7.5(1) and 7.5(2) versions.
