Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:

In some cases a 1x file can be corrupted in minor ways during ingest into CDS TV. This would generally manifest as a slight flicker during 1x playback at certain frames in the asset, or perhaps as some corruption in the closed captions.

Conditions:

Most content will be unaffected by this bug, and the content must violate the generally accepted content encoding guideslines as spelled out in MD-SP-VOD-CEP2.0-I02-070105 to have the bug manifest, in particular it must allow data from multiple frames to occupy a single PES packet. Even for content that does violate these guidelines, most frames will not manifest the issue. It will likely be limited to a few frames in the content if it manifests at all.
Bug details contain sensitive information and therefore require a Cisco.com account to be viewed.
