Description (partial)

Site-of-origin (SoO) attributes applied on a provider edge (PE) router in an MPLS network may not be correctly updated for routes that are connected or static on the PE.

The <CmdBold>ip vrf sitemap<noCmdBold> command is used in combination with a route-map to apply SoO tags to routes learned on a particular interface. For connected routes on this interface and static routes pointing out this interface, the SoO tag will be correctly applied when the sitemap is initially configured. However, if the route-map configuration is changed to apply a different SoO tag, the old SoO tag will remain in effect for connected and static routes. (IGP routes learned through this interface will correctly receive the new SoO tag.)
