Cisco Bug: CSCta20865 - PID for unsupported flash cards should be N/A in "show inventory".
Oct 19, 2010
- Cisco uBR10000 Series Universal Broadband Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: On a uBR10012, a "show inventory" on a flash card greater than 48MB or 128MB, the PID will be incorrect. Amazon has great demands for larger flash cards than 128MB, so customers are opting to use 256MB or more. The PID needs to show as "N/A" if it is not a Cisco flash card with a valid PID. Right now, the PID for 256MB flash card will show up as the following, for example: NAME: "RP A flash card 0", DESCR: "Flash Card" PID: ESR-PRE-MEM-FD128 , VID: N/A , SN: N/A Conditions: Flash cards larger than 128MB are used.
