Symptom: Misleading status in Job scheduler on inserting SCCP gateway. Job Result Status in Job Scheduler shows success, when actually transaction has failed and log file give the error message. Conditions: Pre-conditions: 1.Create and upload a csv file using bat.xlt for VG224 SCCP gateway with MAC Address less than 10 characters. 2.Create a Gateway template for VG224 SCCP Gateway. Steps to reproduce: 1.Goto Bulk Administration->Gateways->Insert Gateways. 2.Select the Gateway Type "VG224" from the dropdown menu and click "Next". 3.Select the created csv file from the dropdown menu. 4.Select the template from the dropdown menu. 5.Select Run Immediately. 6.Click Submit. 7.Goto Bulk Administration->Job Scheduler. 8.Click Job Id of the last transaction to open it. 9.Check the "Job Result Status". 10.Click the Log file to open it. Observed Behavior: 1.Job Status shows success. 2.Log file gives the error message and also shows "INSERT for 1 Gateway passed" and "INSERT for 0 Gateway failed" in Result summary. 3.Gateway not inserted. Expected Behavior: 1.Job Status should show Error. 2.Log file should show the error message and the message "INSERT for 0 Gateway passed" and "INSERT for 1 Gateway failed" in Result summary. 3.Gateways should not insert.
