Symptom: Several 3rd party H.323 video terminals do not behave well with MeetingPlace if they are invited into an audio only mtg and then asked to escalate to video once they are put into the main mtg. To get around this issue, we have implemented a feature starting MP 8 onwards to offer video to an endpoint in the initial INVITE, if the endpoint is configured as a video terminal on the MeetingPlace system. But if the terminal is brought into the mtg using #31 on the VUI from another endpoint that is already in the mtg, video is not offered to the terminal. We need to fix this. Conditions: Video endpoint configured as a video terminal profile in MeetingPlace From an endpoint that is already in a conference, access #31 option on the VUI to invite this terminal into the meeting. Video is not offered in the initial INVITE to this terminal. As a result, the terminal is brought into an audio only OUTDIAL conference before it is moved into the main video enabled conference. Some terminals manage to escalate to video in this scenario but some do not.
