Cisco Bug: CSCta02845 - Unexpected behaviour on deleting service policy from autoqos enabled i/f

Last Modified

Sep 02, 2010

Products (1)

  • Cisco Catalyst 6000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

12.2(18)ZYA2

Description (partial)

Symptom:

The class map and policy map created by autoqos are present in the running configuration even after executing no auto qos

In case the service policy is not mapped and the user executes no auto qos , then on reapplying auto qos on the interface the policy map present in the config will get reapplied and it may not be as per the suggested class/policy map.

Conditions:

After applying auto qos the user clears the service policy mapped on the interface and then does a " no auto qos"

 Workaround

Make sure that the service policy is mapped on the auto qos interface while doing a no auto qos on the interface.
