Symptom:

ASA reloads due to block corruption.

Conditions:

ASA5550 or ASA with 4GE I/O module running 8.2.1 code and using interfaces in slot 0 and slot 1.

Hi There, I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has experienced this problem before Problem Description devices on a network attached to the ASA 5510,v8.2(1) seem to "disappear" off the network. i.e. they are not pingable from outside that network although they are accessable locally from other devices on the same network. looking at the arp cache on the firewall, there is no dynamic arp entry for these devices once they disappear and they cannot be ping'd from the firewall.
