Description (partial)

Symptom:
HSRP group states may flap during switchover.

Conditions:
You may see this symptom, when there are a few hundred L3 interfaces with HSRP groups configured on the switch. The flaps may continue for a few seconds after switchover.


Workaround(s):
If larger values of timers are configured for the HSRP groups, the flaps may not occur.
