Description (partial)

Symptom:
An ASA or PIX firewall running 8.x code will allow you to enter duplicate threat detection exemption commands. For example:

ASA(config)# show run threat
threat-detection basic-threat
threat-detection statistics access-list
no threat-detection statistics tcp-intercept

ASA(config)# show run object-group network
object-group network Whitelist
 network-object host 192.168.2.1

ASA(config)# threat-detection scanning-threat shun except object-group Whitelist

ASA(config)# threat-detection scanning-threat shun except object-group Whitelist

ASA(config)# show run threat
threat-detection basic-threat
threat-detection scanning-threat shun except object-group Whitelist
threat-detection scanning-threat shun except object-group Whitelist
threat-detection statistics access-list
no threat-detection statistics tcp-intercept
