Feb 04, 2010
- Cisco Unity Servers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When a Cisco Unity subscribers display name contains special characters such as a letter with an umlaut (example: Maïga), and the subscriber sends a message to a remote VPIM contact, the message is never received and no NDR is sent back to the sender indicating that there was a failure. Exchange Message tracking indicates the message is sent to the bad mail folder. Conditions: A subscriber with non US-ASCII characters in their display name attempts to send a message to a remote VPIM subscriber. The Cisco Unity Voice Connector for Exchange 2000 version 14.0(1) or earlier.
