Cisco Bug: CSCsz71417 - Unexpected console messages printed upon upgrade to 176

Last Modified

Oct 08, 2013

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

6.0(176.0)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

These console messages are printed on the screen when there are a lot of AP joins happening. Typically after upgrade to a later build, when the APs attempt to join the controller, these messages appear on the console.

Conditions:

The condition under which this problem occurred included a controller upgrade to a newer build and APs which join the controller thereafter have some kind of wrong communication with the controller while establishing the DTLS tunnel. This leads to the console messages being printed. Both the console messages appear together. These messages do not have any adverse effects and the AP continues to join the controller normally.
