Description (partial)

Symptom:

System crash observed in TACACS process when TACACS+ sending out a big accounting request and during that time "sh run | vsh | grep interface" command executed.

Conditions:

When buffer overflow occurs and "sh run | vsh | grep interface" command is run, the system crashes. Prior to crash the following log messages may be seen:


%TACACS-3-TACACS_ERROR_MESSAGE: All servers failed to respond

%SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "Tacacs Daemon" (PID 3929) hasn't caught signal 11 (no core).

%SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "Tacacs Daemon" (PID 3929) hasn't caught signal 11 (no core).

%SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "Tacacs Daemon" (PID 14869) hasn't caught signal 11 (no core).
