Description (partial)

Symptom:

High cpu  during 802.1x authentication by Cat4K Mgmt LoPri Process (use command sh proc cpu sort) and time for client to access network increasing with number of active ports on switch

Conditions:
1. Large number of active ports with IP source guard applied (in excess of 100 ports)
2. Policy enforcement by downloaded access control list. This is merged with a static restrictive ACL on the port.
