Cisco Bug: CSCsz50594 - Kernel crash - misaligned address passed to mem_page_map
Jan 05, 2017
- Cisco 12000 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Under typical operations, a XR based GSR PE router may encounter a kernel RP crash which results in switchover or reload of the entire node. Conditions: So far one-time occurrence started with Active slot9 crashing due to a parity memory error. Slot8 immediately took over and in 5 seconds later, crashed as well. Initial analysis points to memory corruption in the kernel code.
