Cisco Bug: CSCsz50130 - xml error on wlan Tkip MIC Countermeasure Hold-down Timer
Jun 30, 2016
- Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: With WLC version 4.1 and later, there is a command to change the scan time for MIC errors. The command is "config wlan security tkip hold-down <0-60 seconds> <wlan id>". We can use the value 0 in order to disable MIC failure detection for countermeasures. However after rebooting the WLC this value goes back to the default value of 60, even saving the config before reboot. Conditions: Config WLC with "config wlan security tkip hold-down <0-60 seconds> <wlan id>", save configuration and reboot. After the reboot the value reverts to the default 60 secs.
