Description (partial)

Symptom:

A data device can't get an IP address though DHCP.

Conditions:

All of the following must be true.

- 802.1x switchport configuration
- authentication host-mode multi-domain
- IP phone is not present .OR. IP phone is present but fails authentication
- data device is in guest vlan .OR. auth-fail vlan
- DHCP snooping is configured on the guest vlan or auth-fail vlan which ever is applicable
