Description (partial)

Symptom:

1142 AP in H-REAP mode goes into Standalone mode.  If the AP is reboot while in Standalone mode, the AP will change channel on the 802.11A radio to a different channel from the one configure on the AP by the controller after few minutes.
Conditions:

1142 AP configure for H-REAP, and in Standalone mode.
