Symptoms: The Cisco uBR10012 router crashed because it ran out of unfragmented memory and the following message was displayed:

%SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of

Conditions: This issue was first seen in Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SCB on a PRE2 module.
