Cisco Bug: CSCsz36868 - Mars archive function not clearing cf- files from /tmp dir
Feb 22, 2014
- Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Not able to login to Mars. Conditions: When Mars performs archiving, it creates several temporary cf- files that it uses during the archive and puts them in the /tmp directory. When the archive process is complete, these temporary cf- files are suppose to be deleted. The pnarchive process fails to delete these files. As a result, less disk space is available. After several archives, the temp directory becomes full and this prevents Mars form working properly.
