Description (partial)

Symptom:

1. From Configuration -> Routing -> Multicast -> MBoundary, click the outside interface, and the "Edit" button.

2. Check the "Remove any Auto-RP group range announcements" box.

3. On the pop up window, permit multicast group address 231.1.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.255. Press "Ok".

4. Now press "Apply". In preview CLI the generated command is shown as

access-list dmz_multicast standard permit host 231.1.1.1
multicast boundary dmz_multicast filter-autorp

The boundary filter is not applied on the interface.

Conditions:

ASA device except ASA 5505.
