Apr 20, 2010
- Cisco 7600 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptoms: When the command "protocol ppp Virtual-Template" is configured on an ATM PVC residing in either a SPA-2XOC3-ATM, SPA-4XOC3-ATM or SPA-1XOC12-ATM, the following informational message should be written to the console, the terminal session, and the system log: WARNING: dLFI using ATM SPA requires these commands on the Virtual-Template: ppp multilink, ppp multilink interleave, and service-policy output <policy>. If one more of these CLI are missing, dLFI behavior may produce unexpected results. The informational message should also report to the log when the RP or SIP is reloaded or booted. If possible, the error message should report to the system log at a regular interval until the administrator has rectified the situation causing the error message. Conditions: Error message should be reported each time "protocol ppp Virtual-Template" is configured on an ATM PVC residing in either a SPA-2XOC3-ATM, SPA-4XOC3-ATM or SPA-1XOC12-ATM to inform the administrator of the use-case restrictions.
