Jan 31, 2017
- Cisco 7600 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: A 7600-SIP-200 running dLFI with a SPA-2XOC3-ATM running 122-33.SRB4 may send MLP fragments with non-incrementing Sequence Numbers of 0x000000 resulting in a violation of Section 4.1 of RFC RFC 1717. This violation may result in interoperability problems with certain non-Cisco devices running MLP. Conditions: Problem happens with a single ATM VC configured for hardware LFI when a "service-policy" is not configured on the Virtual-Template interface. Problem is platform-specific to a SPA-2XOC3-ATM situated in 7600-SIP-200. Issue occurs runing 122-33.SRB4, 122-33.SRB5a, 122-33.SRD1, 122-33.SRC3. This problem does NOT happen when using a Flexwan2/PA-A3 or PA-A6 Port Adapter.
