Cisco Bug: CSCsz33510 - busy network interrupt code can lead to drive removal
Feb 01, 2017
- Cisco Videoscape Distribution Suite for Television
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Drives used for CDS-TV caching (streamers, caches, and vaults) may falsely get removed during a network partitioning event. Conditions: This requires a network partitioning event where the network interrupt code may consume too much time where pending interrupts on the same processor are stalled for too long. This is falsely interpreted by the file system code as a misbehaving drive that needs to be removed from the system.
