Description (partial)
Symptom: Standby SCE8000 (from a Cascade pair) intermittently reports started/stopped hardware congestion bypassed. SCE user log includes messages of type: RUC hardware counters: System had started hardware congestion bypassed RUC hardware counters: System had stopped hardware congestion bypassed RUC hardware counters: System had started hardware congestion bypassed RUC hardware counters: System had stopped hardware congestion bypassed Conditions: The problem will appear only on SCE8000 installed in an inline-cascade topology and only at a time where the SCE is in Standby mode. If you see these messages on an Active SCE8000, it is likely to be a real situation of entering/exiting hardware congestion bypass.
