Description (partial)

UPC<userid> (e.g UPCCUBAC, userid is CUBAC) is the device name for Unified Personal Communicator soft phone to register with Callmanager.

SEP<macAddr> is the physical IP phone device name.

The softphone device UPC<userid> and physical phone device SEP<macAddr> will normally share a same line dn. For example:

UPCCUBAC and SEP001BD40BA791 are sharing dn 1001.

For BLF to work, SEP001BD40BA791 with dn 1001 is required to be added into CUxAC "Attendant Console device Management", but after that, on next Directory synchronization, UPCCUBAC is associated with CUABC tapi user by CUBAC AXL, this is not wanted by customer. In CUxAC attendant Console device management, customer only selected SEP001BD40BA791 to be added into CUBAC, UPCCUBAC is not selected.

UPCxxxxx device is sharing the same dn with physical phone device SEPXXXXXXXXXX
