Cisco Bug: CSCsz24327 - no ip igmp join-group CLI causes the router to crash
Jan 31, 2017
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptoms: The following command crashes the router: <CmdBold>demo-gm1(config)#int vlan 10<noCmdBold> <CmdBold>demo-gm1(config-if)#no ip igmp join-group <group_address> source <src_addrs><noCmdBold> Conditions: The problem happens when we join and unjoin a particular source-group immediately. Also, the problem is seen only when the DNS server configured for IGMP SSM group to source mapping is not responding. If the DNS responds properly, the problem may not occur. Also, if DNS server is not present.
