Description (partial)

Symptom:

A core file which shows possible bit wise corruption in the module using 144 Mb memory (shows as 128 MB in the showtech).

Conditions:

CSS11500 chassis with normal operations.

RMA and EFA the Session Processor (SP) cards has shown memory corruption. Several different modules for the CSS11506 and CSS11503 chassis have experienced memory corruption (bit-wise corruption related crashes). The crashes have all been related to 144 MB memory modules manufactured by after February of 2008.  

The manufacturer has subsequently determined there was a manufacturing flaw involved.
