Cisco Bug: CSCsz22261 - IOS IPS sig pack does not match CSM server sig pack

Last Modified

Nov 11, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Security Manager

Known Affected Releases

3.2(2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Sig pack on router differs from sig pack on CSM. The differences can be seen when comparing signature actions.

If you do "show subsys name ips" in the router, it will show you the IOS IPS subsystem version. In 12.4.15T IOS IPS subsystem is CSM 3.1.1. When CSM 3.2.2 sp1 imports it, it maps the IOS IPS version to 3.0.1.

Conditions:

CSM is running code version 3.2.2 SP1 managing router 2811 running 12.4.15.T with IOS IPS configured. The router is upgraded to 12.4.24.T and CSM pushes sig pack to router.
