Jan 31, 2017
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Infrequently a core dump file may be generated during the CSA shutdown process that is initiated by the user. Conditions: There are multiple situations that may result in a core file from CSA being generated due to this issue: 1) Issuing CLI command "utils disable csa" which disables CSA from CLI 2) Issuing CLI commands "utils system restart", "utils system shutdown", "utils system switch-version", and "utils system upgade" which in turn issue a shutdown of CSA 3) Performing a L2 upgrade which results in CSA being shutdown during the L2 upgrade process.
