Description (partial)

When you attempt to create a Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) user and a Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) phone at the same time with the CUCM "User/Phone Add" menu option, you receive the error message "Add failed. 4935" and an orphaned CUC user.

If you are using a newer version of CUCM, you may be told the communication with the CUC server had problems, and to look at the CUCM End User page.  However, if you try to add the CUC user from this page you get an error about a duplicate alias.

The first behavior occurs on a co-resident CUC/CUCM system version 7.1, although it may occur in lower versions as well.  The second can occur on more recent versions of CUC/CUCM.
