Known Affected Releases
Symptom: While running the VSM in high availability mode, the VSM is unable to connect to the vCenter Server after a reload or startup after shutdown. Conditions: The setup must be running a VSM active/standby pair. After a reload or startup after shutdown, when the VSM tries to connect to the vCenter server, the following error message will be seen: ERROR: [VMware vCenter Server 4.0.0 build-162856] Extension key was not registered before its use.
