Cisco Bug: CSCsz14861 - Virtual Domain broken for maps

Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

The Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) uses Virtual Domains to separate the network managed into discreet units. However, the Maps Tree View on the Monitor->Maps page shows the names of maps assigned to all Virtual Domains, not just the user's current Virtual Domain. Even though WCS will not allow a user to view maps not assigned to his Virtual Domain, this can still leak information about the contents of other Virtual Domains through the names of other campuses, buildings, and floors.

This affects WCS version 7.0 and all earlier releases.
