Cisco Bug: CSCsz14398 - MTP/TRP, XCODER, and H225 GK Controller Trunk Integration Call Failure
Feb 28, 2018
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Calls involving a MTP/TRP fail because CUCM is unable to allocate media resources for the call. Condition: A call flow is initiated using a MTP/TRP, a XCODER (non-TRP), and a H225 GK Controller Trunk. Both the MTP/TRP and the XCODER are setup for codec pass-through and the H225 trunk supports g711 only. The endpoint that is trying to make the call has 'TRP Required" set to 'Yes'. The CUCM is unable to allocate the MTP/TRP and the XCODER in series for the call (even though they are needed to complete the call).
