Cisco Bug: CSCsz14033 - delete disk0: deletes the complete disk0: directory

Last Modified

Apr 01, 2011

Products (1)

  • Cisco ACE Application Control Engine Module

Known Affected Releases

3.0(0)A2(1.2.57)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
delete disk0: without filename and then give the filename when ace(cmd prompt)
asks for it, then it tries to delete the whole directory(disk0:) rather then
the file. Now if the directory is empty and then we give some dummy file name
it deletes the disk0: <directory> hence disk0: can't be used after that

Conditions:
The disk0: directory will be lost and will not be created until the next reload
of the box.
