Symptom: Number of connections to the database slowly increasing at a rate of roughly 2 connection a minute. Eventually this causes the database to run out of virtual shared memory, causing a database outage on this node. Conditions: Network interruption between subscriber and publisher causes subscriber's dbmon connection cleaner thread to hang.
