Description (partial)

Symptom:

Cisco CSM signature download error. The error message is 

"Auto download log:
  Trying to get vaialable files on server ......
  Unable to communicate with locator service to retrieve available files."



Conditions:

The issue is because the Digital Certificate for www.cisco.com issued by "Akamai Technologies Inc" who is the CA, is not in sync with CiscoWorks TrustManager implementation.

The issue has been observed with CSM 3.2.2 sp1 clean install. It is also seen with CSM 3.2.1

The user is able to login and download signatures from the same machine
with a web browser or a stand alone java application.
