Description (partial)
Symptom: Unexpected MAC addresses may be installed in CAM table:- Switch#sh mac-address-table vlan 350 | i 5/48 * 350 0000.012f.0000 dynamic Yes 5 Fa5/48 With port-security configured, violations will be triggered:- %PORT_SECURITY-SP-2-PSECURE_VIOLATION: Security violation occurred, caused by MAC address 0000.012f.0000 on port FastEthernet5/48. Conditions: This was observered on a Catalyst 6500 running IOS 12.2(18)ZYA1 with PIM configured on the SVI and IGMP Snooping disabled globally.
