Last Modified

Feb 22, 2014

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unity Servers

Known Affected Releases

5.0(1) 7.0(0.2) 7.0(2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

In a digitally networked environment (tested with no dialing domain), if a user with extension 2001 exists on Unity1, and a user is added on Unity2 with an extension of 2001, when the user is added to the Unity1 Globalsubscriber table, it is added with a subscribertype of 0. Also there is no DtmfAccessId entry created for these subscribers on the remote Unity servers.
End result is the users cannot be sent messages by users on the remote Unity server as addressing does not find or recognize them as valid addresses.

Conditions:

Unity 5.0 and Unity 7.0. At least two digitally networked Unity systems that will have overlaping extensions
