Description (partial)

Software: Solaris 10 with ANA 3.6.4 with no pp

GW and UNIT:
	Memory size: 32760 Megabyes
	Sun Microsystems sun4v
	Kernel version: SunOS 5.10 Generic_138888-03

Customer is having problem starting the 2 ANA UNITs.

The 2 ANA UNITs were up and running before. Customer then had a database issue, and logs had filled up. The issue was addressed by the Oracle admin. Since then, the UNITs couldn't be started. Either we ran mvm.csh from the GW or from the UNITs directly, the command just hung.

The side effect after we ran mvm.csh was that a lot of the UNIX command would hung also. For example, I tried to vi to the mvm.out log and I couldn't. Once vi was issued, that ssh/console session just hung forever. Issued the command "kill -9" to the hung command by root had no effect. The only way to clear the problem was to reboot the Solaris box. After that, apache and some processes would come back up. Then, trying the mvm.csh would repeat the whole problem again.
